After two internet providers cut off the internet access for the web hosting firm MoColo, security companies noted a drastic drop in the volume of spam worldwide.
On our e-mail hosting server we have noticed almost a 40% drop in the number of spam messages received. While I am sure some other company will soon step in to provide the spammers another on ramp to the internet, it is nice to see the anti spam efforts have some positive effects.
